Aussie Bubs - the gang of irrepressibly cute baby animals who first appeared on the scene in 2025 and are now back for 2026.  

The tawny frogmouth nests on the 5 cent coin, while the leafy seadragon floats gracefully across the 10 cent. The leatherback turtle burrows through the sand on the 2 cent, and the koala is ready for a nap on the 50 cent. Last but not least, the cheerful quokka brightens the $1, and the mischievous Tasmanian Devil brings life to the $2. All six Aussie bubs can also be seen together on the special coloured token.
