The FX boasted unitary construction, offering comfort for six passengers, and excelled in Australia's rugged conditions thanks to its reliable, six-cylinder OHV "grey" motor and three-speed manual gearbox. In 1951, the original sedan was joined by the 50-2106 utility, and in 1953, the 48 215-257 Business sedan.
