Concorde is a true icon of beautiful design and brilliant engineering and this coin set, the Concorde 50th Anniversary Collection, is a tribute to the impact this aircraft made on air travel and all who flew in her.

Flown commercially from 21st January 1976 until 26th November 2003, Concorde both began and ended the Supersonic Age for air travel. The complete collection contains eight coins, Taking Flight, Droop Snoot, Supersonic, Runway Read, Sonic Boom, Full Thrust, Unity in the Sky and Delta Wing.

The reverse of each coin focuses on a different aspect of Concorde that made it so iconic. The obverse features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
