Important relics of Australia's Baptism of Fire, the trio comprises the 1914-18 War Medal, 1914-19 Victory Medal and 1914-15 Star. The last mentioned is inextricably linked with the Anzacs, as a prerequisite for the 1914-15 Star was service prior to 31 December 1915. Thus, it was granted to all Gallipoli veterans.
